Bulova Stunner

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

From Heritage Watches comes this gorgeous gold watch. Be sure to click for more pics and the chance to buy it. As they describe it:

This fabulous gentleman’s solid gold watch is not only stunningly beautiful, it is built to the highest standards of the day AND it is a genuine piece of maritime history…

This watch is perfect for the gay Asian aristocrat, the gentleman of leisure. Verdict: GAY

Male Automaton

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

What a rare and gorgeous piece of watchmaking this is. Watch porn, if I may say so. A background view of ancient Rhodes with the Colossus of Rhodes raising his arms to indicate the time at the push of a button. It would be perfect for a gay Asian watch lover (porn). Alas, it’s already sold and would have been costly anyway, at US$ 26,500. But if money is no object. Found at Bogoff. Verdict: GAY

Turkish Delight

Sunday, February 17th, 2008

This intricate piece of mechanical engineering sold by Antique Watch Co is called the Turkish Hunter Wristwatch 8 Day. I’m not sure what the “8 day” means, but I know beauty when I see it. Just like some others know gay Asian porn when they see it. :-)

Back To The Future

Saturday, February 16th, 2008

I remember this Commodore watch from my schooldays, when the first LED watches came out. I guess it is kind of a geeky thing to have right now, but I think it’s cute so my verdict: GAY. Available here.

Another Elgin

Friday, February 15th, 2008

This time, a pocketwatch that I’d love to get my grubby hands on. What a beautiful piece of engineering. This watch was made in 1876 when the industrial revolution was still in full swing! US$ 795 here. Verdict: GAY

My Weak Spot

Friday, February 15th, 2008

I must confess I have a weak spot for old watches such as this beautiful Elgin from WatchesToBuy. Sleek and elegant, it fits my criteria. On the Dot or Not? Spot On!

Wacky

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

You can rely on Tokyo Flash to come up with yet another wacky wristwatch such as this one. I have no clue how you would read the time on this, but that does not seem important.

Count The Dots

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

A great watch from Nooka, the dots represent the hours, the horizontal bars the minutes.

For The Diesel Dyke

Very Understated

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

This Jacob Jensen watch from Denmark is very, very understated, like all the design from that firm.
